Death of a carjacker - NSFW
said he fell off drivers side, but he's under the passenger side wheels. something doesn't add up....
Look at the lines painted in orange...before the truck was removed.
then look at the "after pictures: no lines, and his shirt's been opened
and those pictures were probably taken by a crime scene investigator, not the trucker. i mean, if you did run over a guy would it be your first initiative to pull up the guy's shirt and photgraph it?
if you look at the tread marks, they clearly stop before crossing his right leg and hip; if the truck ran him over while moving, he would have had to neatly slot his legs and most of his torso between the tires and the truck driver would have had to stop immediately, such that there was no chance for the tire to rotate completely over him. sound like what would happen if you fell off? not to me.
if anything, i can see him falling out and maybe getting a foot crunched. the way it is, looks like he could have been knocked out, placed under the truck, driven over, and then the cops were called.
He *may* have died committing a crime(i'm unconvinced by their version of the events), but you people must understand that gangs are a social menace that arise from the way society is. poverty stricken children often turn to gangs for familial support and structure, and the fact that they do that is an ill that society causes, not any fault of the gang member. I feel sorry for him for that.
I definitely think you people are taking a callous attitude towards human life. He didn't die because he spontaneously decided to jack a truck, he died because human beings have a natural desire for a sense of belonging, given to him by a gang, and he felt that in order to belong it was worth the risk. I feel sorry for him.
Now, carjackers who do it for profit are a different story, but i think death/maiming is a bit much even for that offense. repeated drunk driving, though, should be a capital crime...or at least life imprisonment.
