Da Hapa is right. It is way to hard to apply make-up, use a Palm Pilot, dial the cell phone, drink a Starbuck's coffee, AND SHIFT. An automatic makes life so much easier...

By the way, I am one of the fortunate one's - my wife will only drive a manual.
