Default Deja-vu

Ever have a dream? Ever turn your head for a split second to get that weird, awkward feeling? that feeling that youve seen this before, perhaps even lived it before? i get this sometimes. sometimes its scary.

deja-vu to me is a sign. its a sign that everything is ment to happen for a reason. what happens has to happen, but why? what is this reason. for me the deja-vu doesnt reveal this. i dont get it every day, just every now and then. once a month i guess. ive talked to some people about it. the most interesting idea about it i recieved from my karate teacher.

he said that deja-vu is a past life that we once lived. it was the time in our lives when our spirit, soul, was free. it makes a lot of sense to me. their is something out there, just not sure when we will know what is. i do know one thing though, everything happens for a reason.

so what so you guys think? what is your take on deja-vu. any stories/experiences/opinons on it.

totally!

But regarding your questions, go ask scientists, not me. I don't know why we get it, but I love it when I do. "Woah, it's just like my dream."

The only one I believe in is "Vu ja day" This is something you have seen before and never want to see again.

deja vu is a clinically recognized phenomena...it occurs mostly when the subject is very tired. The brain has a part that stores long term memory, which it received from the part of the brain that temporary stores temporary memory. When the person is tired the brain gets "lazy" and the distinct division of long term and short term memroy get blurred and therefore the long term memory has already received the information as the short term memory is getting it, resulting in deja-vu.
