I think it has to do with experiencing a current event that happened maybe in your past life, if you believe in that reincarnation stuff. I get it every now and then.

I just explained how and why it happens. Why do you guys keep asking if its reincarnation or seeing into the future?? I know quite a lot about it but since this is a forum I wrote the basic minimum and kept it real simple for the non medical community.
If it hasn't happen yet how is it a memory. You can't remember something that hasn't happen yet. I think science is used too much to try and explain the unexplainable. Only sorta of explanation is a supernatural type IMO.

I'm a believer in reincarnation and I think there is no other explanation when it comes to deja vue. Just my thoughts though.

Even though the whole reincarnation thing isn't my cup of tea, I am religious so I believe that these powers exist, therefore glitches in our mind or powers (since science says we use like close to nothing when it comes to the power of our brains..) that exist in our head are capable of such occurrences.

ok maybe I didn't explain clear enough. Lets focus on your brains has two parts that has to do with memory.

The first part is for temp. memory. The purpose of it is to absorb mass amounts of information, but only temporarily.

Then this part of the brain transmits this information to another part of your brain where semi-permanent/permanent information is stored. Only select filtered information stays here. This is why as you go through your day you forget little things like dropping your pencil, hearing the phone ring in the distance, tripping over a book, etc.

The information you remember for a long time is the information that has been trasmitted to your permant memory part of your brain, such things that you either find important and make a consciensus effort to remeber or maybe because it was repeated several times.

There is a semi-direct path that interconnects these two memroy function parts of your brain. When a person is disoriented, tramatized, or sleep deprived, the communication between these two parts is altered.

So you following me until here? So you drop your pencil, this goes into your temp memory for a while, then gets filtered out eventually by more important information. So now your tired and you drop that pencil but instead of going to your temp memory and then maybe your permant memory, that action entered your permanent memory first. Now that its in your long term memory, the action simultaneously goes into your temp memory. Now remember all of this happens very very fast. Thousanths of a second. So when you experience dejavu you are actually recalling from your long term memory at the same time it is being entered into your temp memory.

Now stop saying stupid things like its reincarnation.

Stop contradicting yourself. First you say science can't explain things and then you use as your citation that science says we only use very minor parts of our brain? C'mon now. Stop spreading your unsubstantiated theories and open your mind.
