I have been hearing about those accusations for a long time. My friend that went to Harvard is actually a friend of one of the accusers (I believe the girl). If these accusations are true, then I believe Zuckerberg should pay them at least half of whatever he has earned if not everything. I mean, if it is true, Zuckerberg just committed outright theft.

I don't believe they will get an injunction or have all of facebook turned over to them. But an out-of-court settlement is likely.

Don't feel bad for Zuckerberg or facebook at all if it is true, but no one besides those involved parties actually know.

Zuckerberg was offered several billion for facebook by Yahoo. He turned them down, stating he wants facebook to remain his company and watch it grow. Sure doesn't sound like a thief to me, but you know what? Programmers often share their codes. Maybe these kids are just mad that Zuckerberg actually made something out of these play codes that they all messed around with. Of course, that entitles the kids to something if they can prove that it was theirs, but certainly not shutting down facebook and giving full control to them. I love facebook!

The appeal is kind of back with the new applications, i.e. graffiti wall, free gifts, pet. I don't really care for the apps, but I find it a lot more professional than myspace or xanga. I found a lot of old friends from elementary school through it. Rather than typing in sns like xXKYOOTxxAzNxxGRLxX523977539, I can just search their real names, as that's how you sign up for facebook.

Honestly I think the new applications suck. I much prefer the older school facebook circa mid-2005, before the Mini-feed and all that crap. I mean who gives a shit if you're in my "top friends" (is this high school?). I don't want to give you an e-gift for your birthday or tell you what my mood is on a particular day.

/rant. Maybe I'm just getting too old for Facebook.

Especially now that they've opened it to middle/high schools, it's being littered by teenie boppers just like myspace. The only difference is there aren't any spammers or online predators looking for you. It was a great tool for connecting to classmates in college since most you meet for the first time ever, as well as looking up old friends. WTF do i want to graffiti for? I'm in college... not 6th grade...

I think it started going downhill when they opened it up to anyone with an e-mail address. When I signed up you had to have a valid, active college e-mail to get on board.
