Actually most people picking them up are either getting ones from the US fleet of show cars (like the silver mentioned over there) or they are buying the LSB demo cars. Actual customer spec cars should be arriving the first week of April.

I can't wait to see the Phoenix Yellow in person!

You and me both, Loki... I can't wait to see the Yellow in person. Looks like I'll be placing the order on Monday... Phoenix Yellow, Black Cloth, Xenons, Harmon Kardon, In-Dash CD, and SMGII

I can't wait! Of course, I'm going to have to wait - A year at least. But some things are worth the wait.

Thanks for all your advice, Loki.

Went to see the new M3 at my local BMW dealer Friday. Got a good look, but didn't get to drive it. It looks a lot like the standard 3-series 3.0 coupe. This dealer was always known to be greedy, and slapped a SOLD sign on this car while I was there.

One thing I noticed is the poor matching of valance panel edges around the rear corner - BMW still has lapses in build quality, sad to say.

Oh, and the sticker price (with several accessories) was $52,300!

Palmateer:

Where I live I must see a half dozen 3-series coupes on the way home. Only seen three other S2000's on the road. People around here figure you work at the BMW plant if you drive one. Here they are a dime a dozen.....The S2K still turns heads.

I just dropped by my local dealership (Sonnen BMW) and just saw the demo car... VERY NICE. I can't wait to get mine.

The guy was great, we chatted it up and he was very enthusiastic in letting us probe the car, he even started it up for us despite the receptionist not liking that. No test drives as the demo unit is forsale for, hold onto your breath... $15k over sticker.

Being in Marin County, I've no doubt they'll get it. IMHO, Laguna Seca Blue is a nice color, very unique and not as Cyan as pictures have shown. I'll post pics up tonight...

cheers
