Looks like a FORD (aka. F4D Skyray)

I'm not sure what it is, but that wing isn't a hyper-sonic planform.

I was looking at the pic a lil harder. Counting out the Aurora it would look like a foreign design delta wing styling. I first though maybe the Mirage. Body is the same but wings are not rounded like that. The wings.......It reminds me of the space shuttle wings.

Heres a good site on Aurora. http://www.parascope.com/nb/articles/auroraPixB.htm

Speed of Mach 6.......It better be that fast if it took over the U-2 and SR71.

"With the SR-71 Blackbird, they knew we were there but they couldn't touch us. With Aurora, they won't even know we're there."

That's exactly what it reminded me of. For a split second I thought I was looking at the Shuttle...until I realized those have been grounded for over a year. Further study of the details also ruled that out. The plane may have been longer than my drawing indicates...it was moving away from us and the angle we were viewing from may have distorted the length of the aircraft a bit. What the drawing depicts is exactly what I saw.

The Shuttle is capable of hypersonic speeds with the same wing design...why wouldn't the Aurora be?

I was just gonna say something about that! Watch this thread get "closed" by a "new" forum moderator!

Any other X-Files geeks out there? Second only to The "Almighty" Simpsons, it was my favorite show on TV. Anyone else represent?

Anyway, that is a sweet picture and experience. I would love to think I were involved in some kind of government screw-up! That plane has to be soooo badass!!
