Can anyone recommend a good digital camera? I am thinking of spending 3 to 500?

Have to take some pictures of my "Silver Angel".

I have a Kodak DC290, not sure on price, but it takes excellent pictures, as well, it can record short amounts of audio/video.. it uses a flash card, which you can buy more of, and larger sizes.. hope this helps

Here is a picture I took today with my camera in front of my house. The only thing I did was open it in Adobe, and shrink the size by 50% so it would fit on most screens.

I have the Sony CyberShot DSC-S70. It's more than your $500 limit, but it's a fantastic camera.
