I don't recall any of these issues being a problem.
My Dad and I spent a lot of time in his 1957 MGA and he did not even have the soft-top mounted in the car. When it rained you drove faster and avoided signal lights.
My 'Spa '02 S2 will be here in April and I plan to drive it and enjoy it the way my Dad taught me, top down and smile plastered on my face!

When I look into the sky and see birds flying in a big group
Must be how the Afghanistan people feel with the jets in their sky.

I don't have a dust problem. I keep one of those swiffer things in the compartment and wipe the inside when it gets dusty.

I only have one minor issue. It's louder than a hardtop car inside, but the concern goes away when I put the top down. Then life is OK and all problems go bye bye. The top is down most of the time.
I think if I owned any other convertible, I might not be happy, but this car is so much fun, I can't imagine it with a hard top.

Any top down day is a good day.

You know, on balance I prefer the targa top. I think the biggest problem is the plastic rear window and having to put the boot cover on.

A targa gives you about 80% of the convertible experience with almost none of the hassles. Though you can't take a targa roof out at a stoplight.

The only probelm so far has been sunburn and getting a nice golden tan.

The only problems have been sunburn and also carry capacity for the car... the trunk is small... and you can't put a rack on the roof... all minor complaints when everything is considered

I carry a small towel tucked under my seat for occasional incidents. Birds, sprinklers, whatever. I usually end up using it to get a deads bug off the bumper more than for inside. And a Swiffer is the absolute best thing for keeping the interior clean. I keep one tucked in the cup holder and just wipe down the interior for about 3 seconds everytime I jump in the car.

Seriously, you guys have boosted my confidence in convertibles

I swear I picture myself redlining a shift from 2nd to 3rd with the top down and the ocean breeze all around me...and my hair all screwed up from the wind...

I love it
