B of A raised mine from 10% to 20%.
Most creditors are doing this now. They give you 2 options. Either take the high interest rate and keep the card open or freeze your account and pay it off.

Even then, I couldn't have paid for a once-in-a-lifetime-trip if I didn't have some form of credit at the time. . . and given the nature of the trip; the bank papers weren't going to go through in time.
