Yeah, that's pretty much Standard Operating Procedure at track events. They go over proper phrasing, tone & inflection during the driver's meeting, and even throw out some useful catch phrases and stuff for the newbies. You don't want a rookie going out on track unprepared.

Exactly. HPDEs are used to practice skills that carry over into everyday life.
