You think you are the only person that they are delivering to. Get a grip.

Be patient, shit happens. You will probably get your stuff. They move millions of packages daily, mistakes and delays happen. I have stuff shipped by them all the time and I've been pleased with their service. My girlfriend's step dad is a UPS supervisor. He's no screw up.

ups can lick my balls.
While I would want Teamsters to deliver my package, I wouldn't want them to handle my package. . .

I think you want the IUSW for that. . .

In my experience, UPS is terrible. FedEx has always worked far better.

For starters, FedEx gets me my package BEFORE 7 or 8pm. UPS always delivers it to me late in the day (when no one is home). Then, the next day, they don't even try to deliver it to my door - they just leave it with the leasing office. Secondly, they've been consistently late on each delivery.

That's just my experience. Your mileage may differ.

sounds like u either live in an apt complex or u get pkgs that require you to sign for them. the reason why the UPS driver is in your area that the same time everyday is because each driver has a defined area and goes through that area the same way each day. they cannot jump around all over the place just so you can get your package when you are home.

only next day air packages have gauranteed delivery times. all other ground packages do not have gauranteed times. if its late, you get your money back with no questions asked. so, whats the problem?

I noticed it got delayed yesterday so i thought it should be here in Washington by Saturday which i was kewl with cuz i can go to their office and pick it up. and if i knew my packages are gonna just stay on Oregon for 12+ hours i would of just drove down there and pick it up. it takes like 2 hours from here to oregon. now i higly doubt that i will be able to pick it up tomorrow. i was planning on installing tein this weekend. i can't believe this company is still in business. i am sorry for all the employees work at that sorry ass company. screw ups.

I can't say I've had the best of luck with UPS either. I had to ship a box of brochures for work, and the package just kind of disappeared. After placing some calls I discovered that the box broke open at one of their sorting facilities so they just threw everything away. Someone had to have run it over with a truck or forklift because I had that box taped up with the reinforced tape - I doubt it just broke open on its own.

FedEx and DHL have been really good though. I've been using DHL more since their rates were a little better, and this really hot DHL sales rep has been stopping by to say hi and drop off cookies.

Oh, I understand why they deliver late in the day. I just happen to dislike it. It's a pain in the neck - I work all day and the evening is my only time to get out and do something. The last thing I want to do is wait around for a package that I would prefer to be delivered during the day (while my wife is there).

FedEx, on the other hand, gets me my packages before 5pm every time. That's what I like. They also haven't been late yet... UPS has, a number of times.

Lastly, I do NOT get my money back when I have product shipped by UPS. I've already paid the shipper (not UPS directly), so there's no way for me to recoup my shipping fees. Or, is there a rule that if they're late, I can get my actual shipping costs back from UPS directly? If so, I'm gonna be rich. Sort of.

FedEx ground > UPS ground
the local UPS Ground customer counter is LUDICROUS. after they leave a notification slip, you better call 'em right away, or else they won't hold your item at the pickup counter. then you're jacked for another day. and when you go pickup, you better have your passport, driver license, dna sample ready man.. cuz they'll REAM you for a new one if you have an outta state license or just recently moved...

recently UPS literally broke my 106" projector screen and bent it into 40deg angled piece.. Dell had to air freight it out next day to me.. ugh!
