do other countries have "disability" acts / laws?

Default do other countries have "disability" acts / laws?

Just curious if England, France, Germany, Mexico, Russia, etc...have any disabilities acts/laws.

I kind of doubt there are laws that say everything under the sun must be able to be done by a person in a wheel chair.

Anyone know? I asked in the other thread but it got buried somewhere.

I read an article in the FT that the EU has a version of the ADA. The result is that the double decker buses in London are being phased out because they cannot, at a reasonable cost, be made ADA compliant.
