I've been married for 2 years but have been with my wife for 7 years and I still try to open doors to buildings for her everytime. I stopped opening the car doors for her when I got the S. I think this has as much to do with power locks. We have been together long enough she can open her own car door. If I was dating again I think I would still open car doors but my wife doesn't like people doing things for her.

I do, however; open doors commonly for people and especially hold doors open when someone is behind me. Common courtesy is a good thing. I make it a point to thank someone for holding the door for me.

I do occassionally... but I don't do it all the time, it's a little excessive... and I think any girl who expects that, is not the type of girl I'd be attracted to anyhow.

After over 22 years of being married I still open the door for my wife to get in the car most of the time.
