yea it all depends. if u ever worked in restaurant kitchen you probably don't wanna eat out ever again. comes from my background but who cares i still eat out.
ya, no shit... we used to drop hamburgers right in front of the owner of a bar / restuarant where I worked in college..... we would pick it back up, kind of look it over and throw it on the bun.

we always joked about the 10 second rule, but it was seriously in effect....

I remember one guy spitting a lugey into a co-workers hamberger one time.... that was freaking gross..... the guy ate it.

I wish I could cook so I would never have to eat out again.

Depends on what kind food it is. If its wet and nasty, like a meatball after it's dropped to the ground, no. But thinks like M&M, un-licked candy, etc., why waste it? Just blow the dust and eat the sucker.
yep.

or in the case of the meatball or ice cream or whatever, id jus cutoff the side that touched the ground and eat the rest.

Some of my friends own a Chinese Restaurant, my girl friend worked there for about 3 1/2 - 4 years, I would go after closing and help her clean. You don't want to know how things work in the kitchen.

But I will give them credit, they still have the best food by far.

I always throw it away once it touches the floor. I would rather waste an M&M then take, even a slim chance, of getting sick.
