back in the day, we would follow the 5 second rule and do the sign of the cross quickly before we eat it, but now, no.

I follow the 0 second rule.

 

When I was a kid I used to raise whatever I dropped to the sky after kissing it. I guess so God would clean it for me. Don't remember how I got into that habit, friend I think. I still do it as a chuckle.
