The Blue Man Group...
It's all about marketing and appealing to the masses. Of course with Intel now cutting the chip costs by 50 odd percent, I want to see how much frivolous money they'll have to throw around on commercials like that.

Actually, they don't care how they spend money... they just print it! :-)

The funny thing is that they're Mac users.

Serious? www.blueman.com Doesn't have anything to do with CPUs, but in any case BMG just rocks.

Since when do commercials have to have anything to do with what is being sold?

Mingster,

Blueman group is a blast to see live.

They have a CD out that is also fun to play while driving.

Here is my MBA take on why they are in the ad.

Their act is a highly sensory experience combining technology, motion and creativity. The audience is very involved.

This connects very vell with the experience resulting from the use of products containing Intel chips.

I am a HUGE fan of BMG.....their shows are invigorating. I have seen the show twice in Chicago, once in NY, once in Boston, and once in Las Vegas. Oh yeah, I've also watched and taped every appearance they've made on Jay Leno, and the Chicago PBS station. I plan to go back to Boston this summer and will catch their show again.

To this day after seeing the show 5 times, if you asked me what it was about, I couldn't tell you what the show is exactly about. One thought though, the shows in NY and Chicago started due to popularity but once started because they were trying to raise money for AIDS and HIV research. To this day, the NY and Chicago shows donate a percentage of the "take" while asking audience members to donate as well. I have donated about $3200 in the BMG name at these shows. There was a time that I wanted to have a fundraiser to help these guys out in their cause....well maybe we can sponsor one here with the S2K crowd.

The BMG has nothing to do with Intel processors, but they are the "spokespeople" that Intel chose to use to market their Pentium 3&4 processors. <----I think it's awesome.
