I am always Scot.... never Mr. Burner.... Mr. Burner is my dad...

I have noticed people calling or around town saying "hi i am ms. Johnson"... or "Mr. Smith" and these people are my own age..(some younger)??? I am not calling anyone my age Mr. anything..... and I don't want to be called Mr. back!

Just curious.... I think it may be some funny way to try and gain respect.???

Scot...urrr... i mean... Mr. Burner...

Jun (pronounced June)... unless I expect someone to call me by my last name, it'll be my first. First name basis always shows more of a friendship and closeness to me. Also, I'm only 18, hehe. I'd expect people to call me by Mr. XXXX if I don't like them or if I don't have any respect for them.

When I worked at a grocery store ages ago I called everyone Sir, Mr, or Ms, or Mrs no matter what their age.

Uh, Scot, life goes like this: As you transition from "cool dude" to "old fart" the "Mr" starts appearing more and more in sentences.

You might also want to make note of your "average age of invisibility" (AAI for all you computer geeks). This is the average age of young hotties at which you are completely invisible to them. So, for example, a 25 yo female would complete ignore me in a bar AS i would be completely invisible to her (of course ALL women ignore me in bars, so this isn't exactly a science here, ok).

There is also the decreasing Maximum Number of Repeat Performances (the decreasing MNRP) that you have to worry about too. But, until everybody starts calling you Mister don't worry about it.
