I don't disagree or agree... seems like a topic that will never die... much like a black man marrying a white girl... I was an Air Force Brat so I grew up in many norther states like MN, ND and then AK... I was pretty young in MN and ND so I don't remember if there was much racism there... probably was though... anyway... didn't bump into much in AK (probably cuz of lack of people!!! )

Anyway... first bumped into it here in Colorado Springs when I was about sixteen... black guy walked into the theater holding hands with a blonde white girl and a couple of the people I was with called her a 'Wigger'... I didn't understand the phrase and when they explained it to me I was surprised! One of my best friends in AK was a guy named Tony whose Mum was Asian and dad was black...

Anyway... to the topic... I married an Asian guy! He's the cutest, hotest, sexiest man I know... and Asian guys have always been able to melt my heart! You're just so cute! I don't know what my husband's friends think of our marriage though... (did I mention that I have blonde hair, blue eyes and am from MN and German decent?) I know what his family thinks of it though... they didn't come to our wedding and we haven't spoken to them since '99... So maybe it is the Asians that have the problems with inter-racial unions... I don't know... just speaking from my own experiences....

I don't think anyone here is trying to insinuate that all american, or indeed western-born asians are only into dating caucasians. Indeed, from my own observations and experiences...asians tend to date exclusively within their own ethnicity much more often than not. And its not due to lack of options either...its just their preference. I know tonnes of asian females that will only date an asian guy, and also...asian guys that will have nothing to do with any girl that isnt also asian. Its a shame, I always tell them that they're missing out. Its like going to a buffet and only having the meatloaf...or in this case hokkien noodles. lol

I'm well aware of some asian parents totally objecting toward the idea of their sons/daughters marrying outside of their own race and I just say I'm lucky enough to have parents that are very open-minded. Perhaps its because they both studied in the U.K for 7yrs. Its too bad you had to deal with that crap, albeit on the other end of the spectrum.

 

Very interesting opinion. It is true to a certain extent. The whole thing about the penis size is such a ed up stereotype. It will plague the asian male for an eternity.

 

quit being picky. go run after those international girls or fob looking. im sure they'll give you a chance.
