I've always wondered about raw meats though, esp. poultry. Aren't dogs susceptible to salmonella or the other bacterias inherent to certain raw meats?

During the last few weeks I had Raj, I would make him roast beef at home. I wouldn't cook it much, just enough for the outside to be brown (inside was red and bloody).

I feed my german shepherd Innova. It claims to be human quality meats, no crap leftovers from the slaughterhouse.
Regardless of what you feed your dogs, Do Not give them those greenies. My dog loves them. Then I read that they are mostly indigestable. That was the end of that.

Many people are feeding raw (BARF) now but I'm not a big fan of this personally. My aunt tried it for a while (about a year)
Just kidding Erik!

How is IAMS compared to other dog foods? That is what I feed my dogs... my yorkie gets Eukanuba and my other bigger dog gets the regular Iams stuff.

Actually Eukanuba and Iams are both notoriously bad dog foods. But like they say, if it works for you and your pet, their is nothing wrong with it.

Just found a pic of Raj on mys2k.
