When I was in college, we used to call him "Joe" (it stared as a joke during a touch football game but that's another story). The cool thing about Joe is that you could talk about him in mixed company. Me to friend with new female," How's Joe doing?" Friend, "Joe's not doing too good, but I'll check up on him in the morning" Female, "Who's Joe?" Friend, "never mind, he's a friend of ours"..........
