I'm curious as to how many people on this board knows who he is.

 

Hadn't heard of him before now. What's the connection Rich?

 

Aside from a personal one? Nothing really. I just saw him on Larry King Live on CNN a couple of days ago (he's a regular on Larry's show) commenting on the Laci Peterson case.

Since the audience here is essentially global with a heavy US concentration, I just wanted to see how many people knew who he is and what he does.

I figure if you know who Bill Clinton is, and know who Monica Lewinsky is, and heard about that dress, then you know Dr. Lee...

 

I think he really gained prominence during the O.J. trial.

I do hear that everyone in CT knows who Dr. Lee is (an exaggeration I'm sure) - but anyone from CT care to comment that?

Maybe this is like asking if you know who Oklahoma's governor is - a local thing.

 

forensic scientist. i've met him in person when he was here in LA. i've got one of his badges he's a reallly good speaker and he's got a sense of humor.

 

Richard, I had the TV muted the other night and had to turn on the volume when I saw Dr Lee's face show up. While I would have known his name and what he does I wouldn't have known his face if I hadn't seem the picture of the two of you together. This was of course the night he was given the honor of your company at dinner.

 

I though he invented Kung Fu or something..

wasn't there someone that started a martial art, that was a Dr. of something?

yeah - I had the honor of having dinner with him a few times. He's one of the most humorous person I know, especially given his line of work dealing with death (most of the time very brutal) and crimes all the time.
