making the bed keeps dust and crap off the sheets..

I'm not shamed to say I have made my bed maybe 10 times in the past 10 years.

Not usually. If anything I'll just throw the covers back over the bed to make it look like I put in some effort.

you're me!!!!!!!!

(except i have landscapers for grass/snow).
lol, to each his own for the landscaping I guess. Personally, I can't pay people to..mow my lawn, change my oil, fix things on our cars that I can do myself. These days people outsource every aspect of their lives....day care to raise kids, landscaping companies for lanscaping duties, etc etc. Our family is old school, my wife stays home with my son, while I make the money.

Every night, right before I get in bed and pass out, I do my bed. Before that, it's in the same shape as when I threw the covers off in the morning.

we're both east indian by birth and have been in Canada since we were toddlers (2-3 years of age)....raised, educated and employed in Canada....Canadian in every way, while still maintaining our cultural values, sensibilities and identity.

I make my bed every day (or close to).

Whether or not a female ends up coming over the apt, I make it a point to keep my belongings well taken care of, and this extends to everything I own. The pay off extends indefinitely. Sloppy is not something I would ever want to attract, thus, why would I embody it?

I'm not sure how Canadian families function these days, but you and I have family situations that are about as rare as they come these days when compared to family life in the States.
