I live my life by what I call the 12 second rule.
If something takes 12 seconds to do I sure as hell better do it.
It takes me 12 seconds to:
Pull the covers up and make my bed.
Put my laundry in the hamper.
Close the shower curtain.
Close the toilet lid.
Take my shoes off when I get home.
Rinse a dirty dish and put it in the dish washer.
Take garbage out of my car.
And about 100 other things that keep my life and everything around more orderly. I just cannot grasp how people can stand to live in filth and disorder.

I make my bed every single morning, it's so quick and easy to do doesn't even take 2 mins. Plus i think it makes the room more orderly.
My mother has my father trained so well that once he's done showering and getting ready he does the bed before leaving the room. She leaves to work before he's even up!
