do you make your bed?
I'm no slob, that's for sure..
I make the bed only to align the sheet with the quilt with the comforter.. however often that is needed.. (winter months) summer months I only use a sheet.. no need to make that.. and I usually make it when I change the sheets.. .. and usually when me GF visits, (cause she will do it anyway)..
.. but when she stays over, she does it, cause that's what she does.. lol
when I make the bed, it's for a reason.. not for show .. it doesn't indicate one is a slob, just because one doesn't.. matter of fact it doesn't make any sense at all to make it.. since you just mess it up later in the day.. and I don't think I've ever met a man that made his bed daily, that I cared to know..
and I have the most comfortable bed you can get.. S&F, Silver Dream.. love it!

...no reason to take a bath if your just gonna get dirty later anyway...
sorry, that argument is insufficient

Oh, yeah, our bed gets made when we change the sheets or when someone is coming over. Since the maid usually changes the sheets, she does it most of the time. I've always been of the opinion that I wouldn't ask my wife to do anything I don't want to do myself. If she's want's to do it, fine. If not, we find another way.

And one has nothing to do with the other. Sorry, its not our fault you turned out the way you did. Just carry on and do whatever you need to do to keep yourself happy.

OK, so say you are up and about on Saturday morning. Are you going to take a shower before you go out and dig a hole to plant a tree or after (assuming that you don't feel particularly skanky)? Do you shower before you go out and crawl under the car to change oil?
There is really no reason to make a bed other than you feel like it or you want it to look nice for someone. It serves no purpose whatsoever other than some kind of anal need for order. If that level of order floats your boat, then go for it.

It's not a need for someone. It's a need for myself. I prefer order in my life and in the things around me. I don't care what other people think of my living space so much as I care whether or not I am pleased by it.
