Do your friends think your crazy??
When you bring up the S2ki board to friends in coversation do they ever think your crazy for being so involved...I guess this is directed or geared more to the members who are on here a lot and attend lots of functions or Mods that have jobs to do. I just know I'm on here a lot trying to get our new community going and keeping it strong.
A lot of the times when I mention "the board" to outsiders they tend to act like it's something ridiculous...like a little car club or something.

Friends? You mean the voices in my head? They say I am fine.
To each their own, some take it more serious than others but do whatever you enjoy as long as it is legal and don't worry about what others think. I had a roommate in college who after clipping his fingernails would keep them in a jar. Now thats a little strange.

Oh yes. My friends think I'm a little odd, and maybe even a little strange to be "chatting" with alleged "friends" on the internet.
I do post a lot from work as well, but tend to find a PC in the office that is a little removed from everyone else. The questions and peering over my shoulders really bother me, almost as bad as those talkers during a good movie at a theatre.
People find it odd that so many people across the world share such enthusiasm for "just" a car, and essentially thats all it is. I often get guffaws when I tell these lay-people how long I spend browsing the forums. But then these are the same people who have no interest in automobilia whatsoever, and couldn't tell the difference between engine oil and clutch fluid!
