In its stock form, their 0-60 time is possible but a bit of a reach. The gearing to get to its top speed might hamper its 1/4 mile times. The thing to watch out for is that DC has a habit of providing higher performance ECUs over the parts counter. Plus a few other "tweaks" and this thing could be a surprising cheap sleeper. It won't corner worth a damn, though, but this could also be tweaked.

I may be a sceptic but something must suffer in order to bring a car with that sort of performance out at that sort of price.... whether it is a poor cheap chassis, bad build quality, poor interior, poor reliability or whatever, something is surely going to bring it down .....

Wow...that's pretty impressive bang for the buck. That would have been a nice option for me coming out of college a couple years back.

Must be pretty light to do 0-60 under six. Does have torque though.

I still think it's kinda ugly. They need to change the name...I mean, "Neon".

I think it's all of them. I've been in older Neons and they are built like crap.

It's still a Neon. When I rented my puke green Geo Metro from Enterprise, they offerred me an "upgrade" to a white Neon. I replied "Ugh, no thanks."
