My sister watches it all the time. She told the guy, who was responsible for translating the ideas and stories of the ladies responsible for making Sex & the City, laughed his ass off about the crap these ladies were talking about. He decided to write a book specifcally to refute all the made-up crap Sex & the City had to say about men. One instance would be:

Actual event: A man goes to the bar to get a drink and stands next to a girl. He says hi and smiles (just being polite), gets his drink and proceeds to his table of friends.

Girl's intepretation of the event & thus the story she tells her friends later that night: This ugly short guy totally just tried to hit on me at the bar. I was so grossed out. He kept asking me if I wanted a drink, and I kept saying no. He got closer and tried to put his arm around me. When I said I had to go, he asked for my number. Obviously, I gave him a fake one so he'll leave me alone. I ran out of there so fast!

 

Im so glad someone else thinks like I do.

I think she did look hot in Failure to Launch though.
