Shinai just reminds me of my karate teacher in NYC smacking my calfs and barking "lower!" I used to hate it when he'd pick that thing up!

I didn't know you were into kendo Mingster. I was at the Venice obon a few weeks ago and they had a kendo demonstration. One of the girls was the CA state champ and she kicked ass. She was ligthning quick, and took down all of the big boys.

No practice Kendo, principal study only. Great shoulder movement, very untelegraphical, or nontelegraphical...whichever you prefer.
