I'm looking at possibly applying for a job at Genentech next fall doing bioengineering stuff through their college intern section... I was just curious if anyone here works fo this company and has anything to say. Thanks

I have a buddy who works the graveyard shift. He's been there since graduation. He gets paid pretty well. He's been asked to move to normal working hours, but he would get a pay redux, from what I understand. If you have any specific questions, I could ask for you.

My dad's partner used to work for Genentech, he says that treat their employees really well.

I don't really have any specific questions... just curious as to how they work with interns... their website says that I'd get paid a full salary plus benefits as an intern... sounds great... that would put me working on what hopefully will be my lifes work at 17... with a world class company, hopefully eventually making enough to get myself an S2k(hey, having very little costs makes saving money much easier)
