Default Does protein powder go bad?

I found a bunch of protein powder that I had forgotten about. I think it's about 3 years old....back from a time when I actually took care of myself.
It was kept sealed and smells good. It is expired but I don't see what would be wrong with it??

I believe the protein and amino acids may break down over time, rendering the powder ineffective, but I could be wrong.

IMO, it won't harm you or anything, but definitely it won't be as effective.
Why protein powder... go natural

Because quick delivery of protein to the body is essential after working out. This is more difficult when eating natural foods. Protein powder should not be used as a substitute for food .. that's why it's called a supplement.
