my dog also likes to eat sh!t and toilet paper!
Maybe that way he can wipe his own ass on the way out.

 

The vets have a name for it (If I remember correctly its efulvia or something to that effect). I had a female lab and she would pick up a tasty morsel from our male lab. The vet said it was a normal female trait as it was trying to hide its young. I told the vet that what a 105 pound lab leaves behind is a far cry from "puppy chow". Sounds logical but who knows "what evil lurkes in the minds of dogs!".

 

It's pretty common for puppies to eat their own feces, they usually grow out of it in the first few months. I have Doberman's which are considered to be among the most intelligent of canines and it's tought to buy into that when you see them eating their own feces. Just a phase I guess.
