Default does your employer offer disc coupons w / paychck?

Our company has about 300 employees.... so ~500 people with their wives/kids/ etc...

Once in a great while local company will drop off some 20% off coupons but it is almost always to somewhere our guys don't shop. (like "boscov's 20% off outwear" - which means you have to buy a winter coat at full price less 20%)...blaaaaa

Anyone here get any "meaningful" discount coupons through their work? i was thinking of places like Bass Pro Shop or Circuit City or somewhere like that (we have a very blue collar workforce). I was hoping somewhere like that would step up maybe and just give us some decent coupons to try to get people in the door.

Anyone get that kind of stuff from their employer? is it worth the effort for me to try or does everyone just throw them in the garbage?

Dell's EPP (Employee Purchase Program) is usually the cheapest way to get computers from them.

Nope, but the educational discount I get from companies isn't too shabby. Apple stands out as being exemplary.

unfort, we have a bunch of medium to low income blue collar guys who "don't give a shit about no computer".

We couldn't even get half of these guys to attend a "wellness Fair" which meant they would get out of working for a half an hour to get their weight, cholestorol, body fat, etc......

I need some kind of discounts to a sporting goods type place. The owners aren't big on rewarding the plant guys much so i thought I would see if i could find a different (free for the company) way to do it.??

Have you tried trailer-furnishings.com? Or how about Walmart? Although they could be interchangeable... Maybe pbr-wholesale.com?

Sounds like most the employees just want a coupon for a month of free payments from rent a wheel or living spaces . So i guess you'll have to keep looking in the newspaper for any discounts at the good stores.

i am now thinking a 10% off coupon for the grocery store has to be better than some lame 20% off "outwear" at Boscov's.....

Someone could actually save $20.00 or so on their groceries....

i would be pretty happy if i got that coupon.
