No... it's bucks, bout a set of nice used oem wheels.
Included install, onsite training, 3 years of battery program for 2 dogs.
Yeah, they bark at strangers.... it's great.

Be careful, the radio/underground fences don't work on all dogs. If the dog has a layer of undercoat near the skin like a Husky or a Chow then the prongs won't make contact and they won't shock them.

But the cattle fences do work. Minimal work and one or two hits of them and the dogs won't go near the edge again.

Have 2 large Labs. The fence works most of the time but when they want to see some one (they are very friendly) they don't care about the fence. Have turned the shock value up but it makes no differance to them.

so a little girl scout thing got bit delivering cookies, the dog fence thingy failed. the neighbor got his ass into the courts over this. be aware. so if you elect to keep an animal make sure its idiot proof.

if a dog concentrate on professional training for the dog, they are well understood compared to the idiot.

No I mean the shocking single wire kind.

I use it on my front door at Halloween time, now that's fun!

if you are outside with the dog when this is happening they sell a remote controlled shocker, where if it runs too far for comfort, you control when and where the dog is being shocked. im sure its much cheaper too.

they don't do it when I'm home. I'll let them out back, go to work, come home hours later and they are laying on the front porch.

My dog likes to dig. She's big - about 75 lbs - so I put out a single strand of electric wire in front of my main fence. That way, she has to go under or over it to get to the fence. It's only offset by about six inches so she HAS to touch it to try and dig under.

It took her about two hits to learn not to go near there. I don't even have it electrified any more - I just have the wire strung and it works great.

It just isn't as "nice" to look at as the Invisible Fence since it's very much out in the open. I got a controller that will handle 2 miles of fence, 1/4 mile of wire, and some plastic stakes. Probably cost me about $60 at Tractor Supply Co.

I am about to move to a 6 acre lot and am more interested in a proximity system.
I have heard that if a dog makes it over the wire, the collar stops shocking them and they wont come back because when they pass back over it it will shock them again.
I want something that if my dog goes out of range, it continually shocks it until she comes back home.
Plus it is portable and has adjustable range for different areas of my property and when guests might be over.
something like this:

Just read you are in a rental, this might be even better for you as you can take it with you and your dog only learns 1 system.
