Default Dog owners - the orange bag. YUCK

I see my neighbors all walking their dogs and they have those orange baggies that the newspapers come in.... after the dog craps, the reach into the bag, then with their hand (and only the thin material of the baggie sepearting their hand from the dog shit) they pick up the WARM dogshit.... That has to be the grossiest feeling on the face of the earth... (on the feces of the earth) Then they tie it to their belt loop and it smacks them in the leg for the rest of the walk..... yummmm... dogshit smacking my leg!

Anyone do this or do you just buy the $10 scooper and be able to sleep at night?

Scot

It is very nasty, but I can think of worse: just leaving all that shit to pile up

Oh man, that's the same damn thing in my neighborhood. I can think of more grotesque things, but I also can't imagine bending over to pick up fresh warm doggie poo.

That's the main reason why I am always reluctant to get a dog. Poop. If dogs didn't do it, they would be the perfect animal!

Just be glad your neighbors don't leave it all lying in your yard ...

Have fun,
Derek

My little Sheltie poops about every other day. I have a rather large yard, and I don't scoop the poop. I had jury duty today and she went to stay with my sister-in-law. It turns out that she crapped all over the place, but my sis-in-law didn't have the heart to tell me. Luckily, her crap usually has the consisitency of pea gravel, so she doesn't make much of a mess. Thank God she isn't a Doberman. Hell, they crap bigger than my Sheltie!

LOL....well, at least they pick it up! I would be pissed if people let their dog crap in my yard, & just leave it there.

Scot, you're right, that IS the nastiest thing... Thankfully, my dogs have a thing about not liking to crap when they are on the leash, and to prove it, they didn't poop for 3 days when I moved until I got them into my new backyard, off the leash!

If I'm forced to do it, I carry a paper towel to put over it first before I pick it up. No way I'm going to even pseudo-feel warm crap underneath MY fingers...
