ok, my wife and I live in a condo community (apartments people can own) there are roughly 12 units per building (6 per side) and in between the buildings are common grassy areas. We have a french bulldog who we walk frequently. When we walk Maurice we carry doggy bags (supplied by the complex at specific areas on the grounds in dispensers). It seems our common area (outside our door) is a popular area for dog owners. Which isnt a problem. What is the problem is that there are a few owners (who's doors open up to the area) that dont clean up after they're dogs.
I am usually pretty good at not stepping in it but in the morning im tired and half asleep when i walk the dog.
I have commented (in passing) about how they should clean up after they're dogs. I have said something to the HOA (doesnt really do anything) and I have even go so far as to bag they're dogs crap and place it in they're respective doorstep. THEY STILL HAVENT GOTTEN THE HINT!!!
From here I am not sure what to do. I've stepped in it a few times and its damn annoying. I am turning to you for help. The only thing I can think of is a written complaint to the HOA and management company. If anyone of you has any better ideas please let me know

Walk up to their front door, pull down your pants and proceed shit on their doorstep. That should give them a clue.

 

Put it on their doorstep but not in a bag. You are being too nice.


Every jacket I own, the pockets are filled with empty plastic bags for dog poo duty. If a cop ever searched my jacket he might think I was a dealer.

 

Typically there are bylaws for poopie pick up as well. Write a formal letter to the HOA, if there's no follow up then write a letter and leave a copy at each persons step. Nothing still, notify bylaw services and let them know what's going on and they can follow up with the owners.

If the people still don't get the message after being told directly a couple of times in that process, then you make their dogs disappear and leave a note indicating where they can pick up the pups, ie animal shelter.
