I think I might have to switch to P90X after my 30 day period on the original Power 90. It seems that P90X is the way to go for fast results.

I am almost a year from finishing and can say I have not maintained that kind of shape and have put on a little weight. But the program had a side effect on me, a herniated disc which I am just finishing a three motnh physical therapy stint and now feel good to go.

I do, however, intend to go through a month or so of P90x again to get me back into shape, and then I am switching to "Insanity" which is another Beach Body program my wife and I purchased.

She is going to start the program and do the full course when we get back from Italy in a few weeks, but she has done a couple of the workouts as a sample and say they kicked the crap out of her. She collects workout DVD's (she has a couple hundred) and does one every morning so if she says they are really hard, I am a little intimidated.
Pretty much same story here. I've had the work out for almost a year, I've done 1 full 90 day workout and had good results and than 2 60 day workouts, I'd always end up skipping a week or 2 here and than start over, I need to stay consistent.

Following the diet definitely showed great results for the OP, I really should try that. I put in all the time and effort to do the workouts but eat complete junk food.

I injured my neck a month ago doing it so took the time off to recover from a strained neck and pinched nerve and started back up this memorial weekend. I can't follow the diet plan precisely but I will try to eat better to see better results.

It is a great program.

OP, how heave of weights are you using for the biceps and shoulder work outs?

halfway through the rest period between phase 2 and phase 3, i still have yet to finish the yoga video all the way through, i cant see the screen when im in a pretzel to see what the next move is, so i get frustrated and quit, but i get a little farther every time. kempo doesnt even feel like a work out anymore, but i get less and less motivated to do the plyo every time, i swear its getting harder. once i was too pooped, and tried to just do the cardio video instead, hah what a joke that was, didnt even break a sweat. im used to doing three sets of everything, and he does 2 sets at most, sometimes just 1, so in that respect its sorta easy, plus i have to move all my weights around the bar, i dont have the full set of solid bars like they do, so i pause between each set which makes things easier on me too haha. also the v up they do in the ab ripper really bugs my back so i skip over it, i also add some preacher curls to the end of the bicep routine because i just like them, and i add some dumbbell flys to the chest routine because pushups just doesnt do much for me

Yes, you're the only one. The same dude - only he became sexier and less hairy.

Biceps I use 25lbs, the exercises kill me, of I where to just do curls I can do 12 reps of 40lbs, but would burn out os use the 23lbs, for shoulders I use 35lbs and the heaviest reistance band
