I was about 20 and I spent a weekend at the beach, about 3hrs away. I was up all night the night before and trying to drive back to school before class.

I left an hour or so before dawn and ai was only about an hour into the trip when I started dozing off. Did it a few times for a second or 2 each time. Finally I had to pull off at a gas station and sleep in the car (an MGB, about as craped as the S) for a few hrs. I missed the first half of the day at school but I made it back alive and without hurting anyone.

 

My friend and I went to Phoenix to pick up his car. We wanted to drive back to denver in one day. 6am flight out and didn't get the car until about 11am. By 11pm I was asleep in the passenger seat and woke up to some rumble strips. We pulled over and switch drivers as I was wide awake from napping thoughout the day/evening. Its scary to be woke up like that.
