stick to it!

heck, I never started, so I really cannot comprehend such a difficult task, but I can see that after a few years that addiction becomes habit.

btw, ever see The Insider? interesting movie.

I know the feeling. I quit myself, but I still cheat a few times out of the month. I think I'm doing ok though. From heavy chain to casual smoker.

Cool. I stopped counting, but it's been more than six months for me. I don't even think about it anymore. The idea of smoking is repulsive.

Why did I quit? I used to roll Samson tobacco. They stopped selling it in NYC!! So I quit. It feels great, though.

Good luck and stick to it. I smoked my last one in 1981.

Good call, Erik...stick to it. I quit smoking 10+ years ago and never looked back. You are in the hardest part now...it's all about changing your habits, that includes all the stuff you do with your hands - packing, lighting, holding it (the cigarette, that is ... ) ...

Get a week or two behind you and it's smooth sailing...

You can do it!
