Are double-breasted suits still in?

Yup double breasted is still in style. Never went out of style. It's one of those things that is always around, just in varying amounts.

double-breasted has kinda fallen out of style. if you have the body type to pull it off it can still good given that the suit itself is well made and tailored appropriately. if this is a suit that is going to see a lot of use, i would probably avoid the double-breasted look.

what about British cut suits?

I like the style but are they acceptable in corporate environment?

Of course. Savile Row, anyone?

If the Brits wear it, it's definitely acceptable for a corporate environment.

Shorts , flip flops, t-shirts.

Nothing could ever make me wear a suit, yikes! That just looks uncomfortable and hot.

I guess it helps to be retired.
i used to feel that way.

and then i put on a taylored tux for my sister's wedding.
that thing was more comfortable then the clothes i sleep in!!!!

now i love wearing suits.
i wear them when ever i can.
i have even worn them while autocrossing!

i agree about how a suit fits that makes you look nice rather then a suit's style.

The comment on the pants is correct. Pleats are definately out. Get a new pair of slacks that match and you will be good to go.

Probably because you can't find one that has arms that go to the knees.

Plain looking people dressed up are still plain looking people, except they are now dressed up. They don't transform into better looking people.

Good looking people are still good looking dressed up or not.

As for me comfort is key, shorts and t-shirts 24/ 7

Ah yes, the "my wallet is bigger than yours" retort. Good one! Original, too!

Have you beat up Jean-Claude Van Damme recently?
