go to your local bodyshop supply store and find some 3M molding/emblem tape. 3M may make something stronger than this for your application, so ask the person behind the counter what they'd recommend.

about the lip though, mind if i venture a guess as to why you need tape? i've seen quite a few of the knock-off amuse lips to gather an educated guess. is there one side of the lip that doesnt sit flush with the bumper? if that's the case, heavy duty tape is only a temporary solution. eventually the tape will stretch or lose some of its adhesiveness and you'll be back to square one.

i'm pretty sure that the only way you'd be able to make it perfect would be to pay the extra cash and bring it to a bodyshop. if its the fiberglass one, they'll be able to make it fit perfectly. if its the urethane one, they'll be able to screw or rivet it to your bumper then cover the holes. the latter alternative is a much more permanent solution which there is no going back afterwards.

good luck dude!

Get the emblem one which is basically like the rest, but there is a special 3M adhesion spray to prep the area or something and that holds real good after that.

That could be bought at any auto store. I used it at my old sponsors shop. Not sure if it helped any, but it's supposed to clean the surface better and have some kind of stuff on it. Hope you find it or that it works.

3m makes a line of tape called VHB (VERY HIGH BOND) I use it on the rear caps I sell and it is offered in different heat ranges and basic colors, white.black.gray. I purchase it a company called R.S. HUGHES and they have some of the best prices I have found! This is good stuff!
