run a tape around your torso under your armpits across your nipples. Height and weight won't accurately predict your coat size.

<edit> and if you're buying something online, make sure you know if you're looking at EUR or US sizes... there's a difference of 10 i.e. a 40 US is a 50 EUR

I thought this was a riddle, just go to Men's Warehouse and have them tell you.

Go to anywhere that sells suits and get fitted. Mens Warehouse, Macy's, local tailor, etc, etc.

Don't guess, get it measured. I'm 5'8" and 160lbs. From that measurement, most suits I try on comes with a 34" waist size, which is too big for me. So don't guess when you have to pay $350+ for a suit.

Every make of suits differ in their fitment. Some European makes are tighter below the chest and are very fitted.

If it's 10 bucks it may be fake? Anyway, take the 10 mins of your time to get fitted. It's free to get done.
