I believe they didn't suck a$$. They just didn't have enough time to cohesively play together. It's not a matter of pride or a lack thereof. Sure, their salaries are stratospherically high compared to their global counterparts, but most of these guys have spent their whole lives playing this game. Oh well, 2008 will see the return of Team USA.

Don't these guys have to show up to play the bronze medal game? I'm SUUURRE they are REAAAALLLLY going to try hard in that game.
