Because it's piss water sold to gringos who don't know any better at a high price. Ever notice that when you go to Mexico, Corona is only sold at some roadside stand outside of town. No self respecting Mexican with any money will drink the stuff. Hell, you have to put fruit in it to kill the taste.

Yeah Corona and Dos Equis are both piss beer, but better than bud light and the code blue broke back beer. If you're going to drink some Mexican beer do it right and get some Modelo, Sol, or if your completely down get some Carta Blanca.

and while I agree Sol is better than Corona, it tastes about the same

Pacifico is good beer. As for the Dos Equis its the coors light of Mexico. They serve that crap in the club for a couple of bucks for a bucket of beer.

corona/dos equis/pacifico/landshark/ etc. are all "generally" known as piss beer for their skunky smell, and extremely light watered down (basically not there) taste. Once you first start drinking them, (i started maybe when i was 17, 18) i could barely guzzle them down, but once you've tasted a variety of beers from all over, yes they generally taste like piss. If you are going to drink a generic "mexican" beer (they were actually brought over and made by the germans) then at least add lime.

No, you are only considered an alcoholic if not having a drink means you are unable to go about your normal day. In other words, if you are dependant on the alcohol to do things or feel things (such as feeling happy) then yes, you have a problem.
