Dude, order the salad once in a while.

I work with a guy who lost 400lbs in about a year. He's down to around 180 now. He said the last straw was when he got into a friends car and broke the seatback.

Personally, I hit that last straw when my jeans start to feel too tight. No sweatpants with elastic waistbands for me. That would just be asking for trouble.

I dont think one can eat himself into that kind of shape. This guy has to have some sort of medical condition.

Unfortunately that's how most large people diet.

I went to the Pizza buffet a couple of weeks ago and sat next to a large couple. They both got a salad that was piled so high the plate almost wouldn't take it and then ladled enough dressing on so that it dripped over the sides as they walked back to the table (it looked to be the equivalent of a bottle of dressing).

THEN they ONLY got 2 plates full of pizza. I'm not talking 2-3 slices I am talking as many as they could stack on and still carry it. They had more on one plate than I would eat in 2-3 visits.

Then they sat at the table and talked about how good they were doing on their diet by eating salad and not going back for seconds.

Yup, that's a diet that will be sweeping the country, oh wait, it already is!

Obviously the guy has something wrong with him, I don't argue with that statement. But lets just say the guy started at 100 pounds. You would have to sew his butthole shut, feed him a pound of food per day for almost four years and NEVER burn a single calorie in that time to get to 1216 pounds. Think about it.

And every time I read one of these stories some poor dope is bed ridden at 900 pounds and INCREASES to 1200 after he cant get out of bed. Who are the jackasses that still overfeed them?

Caption attempt #2 "You will be taken to the dune sea and thrown into the pit of the almighty Sarlac!" How's that for a nerd reference?

He does have a pretty hefty looking set of titties though..... I would probably never leave the house if i had a nice set.....

quote from the story.....His wife, horrified by his increasing size, feared the worst and abandoned him more than a decade ago.

There are I am sure a bunch of people that feel sorry for him, but how about a little sympathy for whomever has been cleaning up his poo since he became bed ridden? Where's the love?
