The guy with the camera could have shot him... If he was in fear of his life and thought the guy was trying to hit him (or claimed that), he could have shot him while he gunned it, or when the redneck was backing up, he could say that he thought the redneck was going to try to hit him again... Heck, he could even think that the idiot tried to hit him, then got out of his truck to finish the job cuz he couldn't take care of it with his truck... In most states you don't have to prove that the person was trying to kill/maim you, all you have to show is that you were in fear of your life to use deadly force... Some idiot jumping in his truck, gunning it over a curb and almost hitting me would have me "fearing for my life." And you sure as hell bet I would be wondering what the hell the idiot was doing, was he trying to hit me? or was he just a drunk/stoned idiot.

Just the other day on the news, some idiot was pulled over, and then he took off, trying to get away, and almost hit a cop, the cops shot and killed the guy... Was he trying to hit the cop or just get away? It doesn't matter, the cop was justified in shooting and killing the driver because he feared for his life.

Get the point? Yes, it would be stupid to pull a gun/shoot someone for hitting your car, but if I was the camera guy or standing next to the car, you can bet your ass that I would have my gun out or at least have my hand on my gun until I find out what the hell the intentions of this retard were. "Was he just being a dumb redneck, or was he trying to hit me or someone else..."

So, before acting all smart and self righteous, calling other people dumbasses, maybe you should put yourself at the scene and think about what would be going through your head.

Also, I believe that legally, a "reasonable" person must also find their life to be in grave danger in order to justify deadly force. "Reasonable" doesn't usually include trigger happy CCW holders itching for an opportunity to flash some steel. Reasonable people would move out of the way of a truck, not reach for their gun first...

The cop scenario is simple: the criminal was trying to get away and decided to use his car as a deadly weapon...BANG BANG bad guy dead


This guy was demonstrating his truck and the people around them heard this assertion from him and knew his intentions. that's why someone was also filming. There would be no reason for you to need to pull your weapon when truck went over the curb or failed to stop in front of parked cars. his intentions were known.

Lets say you were there and was 25-30-50 feet away from this event....you telling me you would bust though the crowd with "yo gat" and put the smack down on the driver after he got out of the car....LOL

Lets say you were 10 or 5 feet away....you would have heard what the ass-clown was going to do and you are saying to us now that you would have shot him in the process of demonstrating how his vehicle could jump the curb???

In the 4 seconds it took to perform the event you think you would have properly assessed the situation as: a maniac intent on killing you or others...OR...would it be safer and more accurate to assume you would have reacted in surprise like everyone else and kept your weapon concealed???? Bitch please, don't try to armchair quarterback this situation or defend the idiots saying they would go all Rambo on this dude if they were there.
