Wow, that's amazing. Looks like it was taken in the summer since the extreme northern areas are getting so much sunlight.

What's really cool is being able to see the terrain under the ocean.

I heard a story once about the Vikings giving Greenland it's name to detract people away from Iceland which is a paradise compared to Greenland, I heard.

If my memory serves me correctly, back in the late 900's when the Vikings were coming over, they called it greenland to promote settling. Off the top of my head from 5th grade.

When I saved the picture the name came up as "daybreak".

In reality, it's nightfall.
