Hmm...methinks something fishy is afoot. #1, there's no way that much of the Earth's surface would be cloud-free at one time, and #2, there's no way you could see features on the ocean floor that far from the coast. I think this is some kind of conglomeration of a radar/IR image and the something like the "nighttime" image of earth also posted in this thread. Also, the angle of the "sunset" doesn't look right to me...it should be roughly north-south, which it isn't in this photo if my memory of geography serves. Or has my memory been skewed by looking at too many flat maps of the world? Wow am I paranoid or what?

Still a very cool photo though .
