Dang it, I missed it! I was watching football on my new home theatre setup - probably mistook it for a big tackle

4.2 but mingster was pretty much right near the epicenter means more shaking for him compared to your scotts valley

You know, I lived in California for 2 years (Santa Barbara) and didn't feel a single earthquake. I was woken up in the middle of the night by an ICBM launch from Vandenberg, though!

Oddly enough, we had a tiny little quake here in Virginia some months back (I believe it was rated in the low 3's) that I felt. Sounded and felt like a loud "BANG!"

Unfortunately, I was in the air on the way back from Montreal, so I didn't get to feel it. Living in West LA, it would have felt good. I'm sorry I missed it, maybe there will be some decent aftershocks.

I know cali, I was just giving Richard a little crap I was 5 miles from the epicenter of the '89 quake...talk about shaking!!!! The pavement was upheaving and waves of asphalt were coming at me in the parking lot...I did all I could to keep my balance as these waves rolled through...wierdest thing I have ever experienced.
