I was in L.A. in '91 for a wedding and missed the big quake there by only a week (lucky me). In Texas, we don't have earthquakes; however, tornadoes, hail storms, et al, do wreak havoc from time to time.

They predict tornadoes(sp) with 10 minutes warning if you are lucky.

I felt it down here in Torrance, but it was a really small one. I guess I've just been too many big ones (3 of them so far) and thought this one was just a yawner.
